Church is a place of shared experience, fellowship and working for Christ which provides us with protection, strength and a sense of belonging enabling us to perform the operations and functions of God (Ephesians 2:19).
In corporate worship there is a place for Bible teaching, encouragment, worship, and spiritual songs, as well as an atmosphere for the exercising of the giftings of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12).
As the church comes together to sing, pray, and share the Word of God, great things happen, especially when everyone brings their gifts together to serve and worship.
Hebrews10:25 simply says, “do not forsake the coming together of yourselves.” In a local church you always have someone who is available to partner with you in prayer and support, because people of “like precious faith” have joined together to help and assist one another and to fulfill the “Great Commission” of Jesus Christ.
Membership offers a glimpse to the world of personal commitment and faithfulness in fulfilling the “Great Commission” and its responsibilities. The church offers you an opportunity as a vehicle to serve Christ and His kingdom. We encourage you to come and be a part of our services, experience the worship, teaching, and community that makes The Landing a unique place of “healing and restoration!”
One the first Sunday of each month, Pastor Chris teaches a class “Welcome to the Family”. In this class, a short history is given, doctrinal statements discussed and a time for questions to be answered.
