Marti MacGibbon

Bestselling Author, Inspirational Speaker, Comedian, & Survivor

Marti MacGibbon has toured the U.S. as a professional standup comic, and she is now an inspirational speaker, certified addiction treatment professional, and author of the award-winning, bestselling memoir, Never Give in to Fear. Few speakers have a personal comeback story as powerful as Marti’s. In earlier years, she was on a fast track for success, with a scheduled appearance on the Tonight Show, when she became involved in an abusive relationship, ensnared in drug addiction, and was trafficked to Tokyo and held prisoner by Japanese organized crime. She suffered physical and sexual abuse, homelessness and trauma, but finally pulled herself up out of seemingly hopeless tragedy and into personal transformation, professional success, and a happy marriage. Marti will reveal the powerful core beliefs and positive forces she discovered that transformed her life and can do the same for you.

Mandy’s music has begun to attract the attention of those around the world, adding to her message of hope, dream and believe. For instance, CNN’s Great Big Story captured over 6 million hits on social media, Burt’s Bees signed her up for their remarkable women campaign, NBC Nightly News profiled her, and she has started performing at the worlds most prestigious clubs, concert stages and festivals around the country. Mandy is underway writing her first book, and helping others to realize their dreams and pursue their hopes. As a Spokesperson for No Barriers USA and Invisible Disabilities Association, she travels the country to heighten awareness, break down blocks, challenge stereotypes, and lead the charge toward a brighter future for all.
